Pat Hingle: 'Commissioner Gordon' Has Died 1924-2009

Veteran actor Martin Patterson ‘Pat’ Hingle, 84, whose career spanned over fifty years, died at his home in Carolina Beach, North Carolina on Saturday, January 4, 2009.  Cause of death was reported to be leukemia, a blood cancer.  Check out photos and video at Bitten and Bound.

John Travolta's Son dies at 16

John Travolta and Kelly Preston's teenage son Jett has died. The 16 year old passed away in the Bahamas on Friday!
Jett Travolta suffered a seizure at his family's vacation home at the Old Bahama Bay Hotel on Grand Bahama Island, according to family attorney Michael Ossi. He died at the scene.
Jett, who had a history of seizures, was the eldest of Travolta's two children. The actor and his wife also have a daughter, called Ella. My heart and deepest sympaties go out to john and his family!

Bernie Hamilton of Starsky & Hutch T.V Series Dies

Actor Bernie Hamilton, who played the no-nonsense police captain on the 1970s TV series "Starsky and Hutch," has died. He was 80. Hamilton died of cardiac arrest Tuesday night at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, said his son, Raoul Hamilton.
Born in Los Angeles in 1928, Hamilton ran away from home as a teenager and wound up staying in someone's garage and attending Oakland Technical High School, where he played football and got involved in acting.
Hamilton appeared in more than 20 films, including "The Young One," "The Devil at 4 O'Clock," "Synanon," "The Swimmer," "Walk the Walk" and "The Organization."...

Sopranos "Baby Cakes" Found Dead

The AP is reporting the actor who played the gay lover of a closet homosexual on the HBO show The Sporanos has died of a self -inflicted gunshot wound. The actor's name is John Costelloe who was found dead in his Brooklyn home on December 18th in what looked like a suicide.
The AP says, "The 47-year-old former New York City firefighter gained fame in 2006 when he was cast as short-order cook Jim "Johnny Cakes" Witowski opposite  Joseph Cannascoli, who played gay mobster Vito Spatafore on the hit HBO show.
Seems awfully strange that an up-and-coming successful actor would take his life, but I think that is what people always forget to recognize -- including this...

Macaulay Culkin's Sister was Killed !

Police say Macaulay Culkin's sister Dakota Culkin was killed after she stepped in front of a car in west Los Angeles.
Police spokesman Richard French says Dakota Culkin was struck Tuesday night after she stepped into the street. She died a day later at a Los Angeles hospital after suffering massive head injuries.
French says there is no active criminal investigation.
Police say the driver stopped and tried to help the 29-year-old. Officers determined the motorist wasn't driving drunk and followed all laws.

Police say the brother of actor Mark Ruffalo has died a week after he was shot in the head.
Beverly Hills Police Sgt. Renato Moreno says 39-year-old Scott Ruffalo died late Monday night at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles.
A phone message left early Tuesday for a Mark Ruffalo publicist wasn't immediately returned.
Two people wanted for questioning about the shooting had surrendered themselves to police earlier Monday.

ER" creator Michael Crichton has passed away. He was 66.
