In Arizona, seeing Joe Arpaio on TV is nothing new. But the self-described "America's toughest sheriff" now has a national platform to pursue lawbreakers that stretches beyond the 5 o'clock news.
The Maricopa County Sheriff's Office, which oversees the state's most populous county, has a starring role in "Smile ... You're Under Arrest!," a new reality show debuting Saturday on Fox Reality Channel.
A cross between "Punk'd" and "Cops," the program sets up elaborate sting operations to snare people wanted on outstanding warrants. Actors and undercover deputies play along in faux scenarios where scofflaws are enticed to have a good time; the drama comes when cast members r...

Iron Man 2 have learned that John Cho has been cast as the Mandarin in Jon Favreau's follow-up to the gold-plated blockbuster. Cho, having appeared as both Harold and Sulu, will make the Asian geek trifecta with this role as the power-ring-wearing, power-mad villain. Other horribly placed sources tell us that Tommy Chong is being eyed to play the Mandarin's father, who claims to be the real genius responsible for the weaponeering success of Howard Stark, Tony's beloved dad.
Does that sound real enough to start a casting rumor? Feels like it to me. After all, was there any more than that to go on when people started talking about Tim Robbins in Iron Man 2,

Fans who can't get enough of the Twilight series won't have to wait long for the second film to hit theaters.

According to Summit Entertainment, the sequel to the blockbuster hit, New Moon, is set to open in November, 2009 – just 12 months after the first film's release.
And just like Harry Potter, New Moon will have a new director this time around. Summit has secured Chris Weitz (The Golden Compass) to direct the second installment of author Stephenie Meyer's best-selling series about mortal teen Bella Swan and her dangerous vampire love i...

For all of the people that were looking forward to it, or even heard about it ... John Stamos was pitching a semi-remake of the 90's show "Full House." Now it appears that it's no longer being followed through with. The deal couldn't be made and so we're left with only reruns of the old show and no John Stamos, Mary-Kate or Ashley Olson, or Bob Saget back on the tv screen.

Personally I think it's great 'cause what values could the Olsons teach current tweens and teens? And Bob Saget obviously isn't too homely anymore with the way his stand-up is going.

Late actor Heath Ledger's tragic death has reportedly inspired a new episode of TV crime drama Law & Order.
The show is notorious for basing its plots on headlining-grabbing events in New York - where the series is filmed. And its newest inspiration comes in an upcoming episode that is "supposed to be about Heath Ledger," reports the New York Post.
A show insider explains the plot stars a male model who "has a great career and gets all the ladies (and...

Spielberg and Smith are currently in early discussions to join forces for the very first time, on a remake of Chan Wook Park's 2003 drama 'Oldboy.'
The trade paper says if Spielberg is given the green light for the movie, the jack-of-all-trades Smith would be cast in the lead role as a man who avenges his mysterious kidnapping. Plans for the film have not been finalized as DreamWorks is trying to acquire the rights to the original film, and the new version would be distributed by Universal.  What do you think of their new project?

Sylvester Stallone and Jason Statham have become expendable.
The pair will join Jet Li, who's in final negotiations, as a team of mercenaries in "The Expendables," an action film that Stallone wrote and will direct.

The main characters are sent to infiltrate a South American country and overthrow its ruthless dictator to liberate the population. Their team is "expendable," hired to do jobs that no one else can or will. Principal photography will begin in February in Costa Rica and Louisiana.

The new trailer for Fast and the Furious IV is out!! It's starring Vin Diesel and Paul Walker...and the amazingly sexy (to me) Michelle Rodriguez! I'm very excited about this one because by far the best Fast and the Furious movie was the first (cuz Vin Disel owns and EATS THE TOY WITH THE HAPPY MEAL).
Furthermore, the trailer is awesome! It features a scene with amazing special effects and stunt work! Watch and love it!
